Campaign Story
The stars of Stonewall Farm's educational programs - the sheep, alpacas, goats and chickens need a new and safer barn. The new barn will include interpretative features that encourages visitor interaction with the animals as well as provides adequate meeting space for educational programs involving the animals. From collecting eggs to watching sheep sheering, and escorting couples down the aisle, visitors have numerous ways to interact with the animals. The goal of the project is to build an interactive farm-based education experience for all visitors, including school groups, campers and families.
It is about connecting people to agriculture and inspiring the next generation of farmers and food producers. It is about engaging people in the preservation of our open spaces and providing a place where people can gather and grow! For over 27 years, people have been able to use the trails, visit with the animals, and learn about agriculture first hand when visiting Stonewall Farm. We are looking forward to growing this experience with the support from the community!
Thanks to Tree Free Greetings for sponsoring our rewards and Bensonwood for helping with design!!!
We also want to thank our Champion Organizations Monadnock Food Co-op, The Cheshire Horse, Hamshaw Lumber, Clark-Mortenson and Paragon Digital Marketing and our Campaign Champions who are helping us spread the word about this important campaign! We couldn't do this without all of you!

Join Us at the Monadnock Food Co-op this Friday from 4 to 7pm
We are so thankful to everyone who has contributed to our campaign! We are hoping to reach our campaign goal of $10,000 so we can build our barn this fall. We will be at the Monadnock Food Co-op this Friday with The Local Crowd to talk about our campaign and The Local Crowd crowd funding platform. Help us spread the word so we can reach more people and let them know about our campaign. Stonewall Farm provides many opportunities to get hands on with agriculture and is open and free to the public year round. We are excited to expand our visitor services and education programs by building a new animal barn for our smaller farm animals. We have raised close to $5000 through the Monadnock Food Co-op’s Round -up Program last month $2800 through the crowd funding platform.
Thanks again for your support!
